Take advantage of Maui's Road to Hana and Snuba Molokini Crater

Nancy & Shawn Power in Maui, Hawaii

There we are enjoying a beverage and a senic ride after our SNUBA/Snorkel tour in Molokini

The last two days we have been having a whole lot of fun here in Maui, Hawaii!

And unfortunately, we were reminded of why it is so important to do so when we heard the news yesterday that we lost an incredible man, Mr. Steve Jobs, at a young 56 years of age, co-creator of Apple… it was sad! 🙁

We realized even more that you only get one shot at life and it could pass anytime.

None of us are immune to it!

His loss puts things in perspective for us yesterday.

To live each day to the fullest and have as much fun as you can…

…just thought we’d take a moment to drop that in, to say goodbye and give thanks for the important reminder from such an extraordinary man. (We’re true Apple lovers… have “i” everything! :-))

On Tuesday we drove the Road to Hana and went the entire way around the Southern part of Maui… despite what the warnings say, we can tell you the roads down there are not as bad as they say. 🙂

We left at 8:30 am, stopped at most of the scenic picture taking stops, took a 2 hour hike on Pipiwai Trail to Waimoku Falls, stopped for a pasta dinner and got home at 8:00pm…

… long day but totally worth it!

Here’s our video of the awesome day!

By the way, here is the link we mentioned in the video for the GPS we used on the Road to Hana.

Yesterday we tried snuba for the first time and snorkeled the Molokini Crater.

It was really a lot of fun!!

Have a peek at that video.

Alright, we’re off to see the sunrise on Haleakala this morning… we’ll share that with you soon!

We appreciate You!

Maui looks incredible. We have only been to Kauai. Have you been to Kauai? How do they compare? We did snuba in Kauai. I wasn’t very impressed. I thought snorkeling would have been better. It was a bit cumbersome with all the lines going to the boat. I guess once you get a taste for the freedom of snorkeling and scuba it is hard to go back.
    Thanks for the post.

Hey Monica, Yes we have been to Kauai, it’s SO beautiful! Funny, we have a post going out tomorrow morning that addresses the different islands- hope you like it!

We agree with you about snuba, the lines make it a bit difficult, but it’s a good intro to how scuba would feel, would you agree?

Are you heading to Hawaii any time soon?
