Video Review And How Much We Saved Through Our Travel Club At The Sedona Pines Resort In Sedona, Arizona

A cottage at the Sedona Pines Resort in Sedona, Arizona

As mentioned in the post, the rooms are all individual little cottages... very nice & private!

This week we are exploring the unique and famous red rock countryside of – Sedona, Arizona.

Today we wanted to show you around where we are laying our heads each night.

It’s called “Sedona Pines Resort” and now you’ll have the inside scoop on this place and can decide for yourself if you’d like to stay here while visiting too. 🙂

What we really like about this week’s stay is that your space is your own. You are literally staying in your very own little cottage separate from everyone else.

That provides some nice privacy compared to a typical hotel room with the connecting doors or paper-thin walls that force you to hear all your neighbor’s business!!!

And from the kitchen, you can walk out and put a steak on hot coals, then sit back and enjoy a tasty BBQ with a refreshing drink out on your private patio… very nice!

It gets old eating out all the time, so it’s nice to stay in places that have a kitchen so you can eat healthy, save money and you can wake in the morning and have a coffee and breakfast in your bath robe without having to leave the comforts of your own space.

Oh, and just so you know, we were trying to think of the negatives of staying here at the Sedona Pines Resort, but honestly the only thing we could think of was the fact that they have queen beds, not king.

Yeah! Yeah! … We can just hear it now, you laughing at us while you read this. 🙂 But you know, when you’re used to sleeping in a king size bed and having room to spread out, the queen ain’t so fun anymore….

…but the beds are super comfy, so it kinda makes up for it. 🙂

Anyways, if you were to ask us “Was it nice, would you recommend this resort to us?”… we would say, Absolutely!

We really liked our stay here!

Have a look below at the video we did for you and see for yourself… Oh, and in it we show you the deal we got while staying here by booking through our International Travel Club compared to booking with the big online booking engines….

…let’s just say, we’re glad that extra $700 is in “our pocket” this week rather then in Expedia’s! 🙂

By the way, if you’re looking for some nice casual dining places when in Sedona we tried two good ones so far this week…

1. Taos Cantina… great Mexican food with a energetic atmosphere and great patio to people-watch from… we started with some chips and fresh guacamole and ended with chicken/beef fajitas… both yummy! 🙂

2. Cafe Jose… this one we would have missed had a local not recommended it to us.  It’s a real home-feel/ diner type of place with good, super fast served food at excellent prices… we started with the Caesar salad which we wouldn’t recommend as the dressing was on the side so we had to mix it and it didn’t have croutons but Shawn’s tuna melt and Nancy’s omelet… both pleased our tummies!! 🙂

Alright, we’re off to the pool… talk soon!

We Appreciate You!

Nancy & Shawn
