What to do in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada?

The American side of Niagara Falls, what to do in niagara falls.
While visiting Hawaii, one of the fun things to do is to go in search of big beautiful waterfalls and marvel at their beauty and splendor…

…well, recently we stood in complete amazement in front of Niagara Falls, the second largest falls in the world.

“It’s like taking all of Hawaii’s cascades and putting them together to form one colossal site”

Incredible!!

So if you’ve wondered “What to do in Niagara Falls?” here is a list of fun things to do while here:

1. The first is quite obvious and the most popular tourist attraction. Drive to the border between Ontario, Canada and New York in the United States and see Niagara Falls. It is comprised of three distinctive falls that include Horseshoe Falls (2,600 feet wide) on the Canadian side and American Falls and Bridal Veil (1,060 feet wide) on the American side. It’s truly one of the most powerful natural sites we have ever seen, with an average of approximately 4 million cubic feet (110,000 cubic meters) of water dropping EVERY single minute. Wow!

TIP: Check out the falls up close at dark as well when it’s lit up in colors… you get a different perspective and feel it’s power even more then daytime!

Clifton Hill is like the Las Vegas strip of Niagara falls (it will be on your top ten list of what to do in Niagara Falls, we’re sure of it! ) with popular attractions including shopping, eateries, accommodations and loads of fun activities. We ate at Montana’s Cookhouse while there. TIP: Try the pot roast soup, it’s so tasty!

.
4. The Hershey Store has a dessert bar and it is T-H-E place to pick up dessert and sweets, plus it’s not too over priced. It took some time with all the choices but we finally decided on the Peanut Butter Cheesecake, it was fabulous!
